Real Estate Institute of Belize Terms & Conditions
Enrolling at the Real Estate Institute of Belize (REIB), students agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility & Registration
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and meet the minimum requirements for program enrollment.
- Registration is confirmed only upon full payment or approval of a payment plan.
- Students are responsible for completing registration and payments by the published deadlines.
2. Attendance & Participation
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes, whether in-person or online.
- A minimum of 80% attendance is required to receive certification.
- Active participation in class activities, assignments, and assessments is mandatory.
3. Dress Code
- Business casual attire is required for in-person classes and school-related events.
- Students are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
4. Academic Integrity
- Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of dishonesty will result in disciplinary action, including possible dismissal from the program.
- All assignments must be the student’s original work.
5. Certification Requirements
- To receive a BelPro certification, students must complete all coursework, pass required assessments, and adhere to the Code of Ethics.
- BelPro Associate requires 240 instructional hours.
- BelPro Elite requires an additional 300 hours beyond the Associate level.
6. Code of Conduct
- Students must treat instructors, staff, and peers with respect at all times.
- Disruptive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior may result in suspension or expulsion.
- Students must adhere to the REIB and Tubal Trade & Vocational Institute’s values of professionalism, integrity, and community respect.
7. Refunds & Withdrawals
- Tuition is non-refundable once classes begin unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Students who wish to withdraw must notify the administration in writing at least 5 business days before the start of the program to be eligible for partial refund consideration.
8. Certification Verification & Use
- Certified students will be issued a searchable BelPro Student ID.
- Graduates may use the BelPro designation (Associate or Elite) in their marketing materials.
- Misuse or misrepresentation of BelPro status may result in revocation of certification.
9. Updates & Communication
- Students are responsible for staying updated with announcements and policy changes sent via email or posted on the school’s official communication channels.
By enrolling at the Real Estate Institute of Belize, students affirm that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
At the Real Estate Institute of Belize (REIB), we are committed to providing high-quality education and a positive learning experience. Due to the nature of limited seat availability, instructor scheduling, and administrative costs, our refund policy is as follows:
1. Registration Fees
- Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances.
2. Tuition Refund Policy
Students who wish to withdraw from a course may be eligible for a partial tuition refund based on the following schedule:
Withdrawal Period Refund Amount 5 or more business days before class starts75% refund of tuition1–4 business days before class starts 50% refund of tuition. After classes have begun - No Refund.
Written notice of withdrawal must be submitted to the administration by email or in person to qualify for any refund consideration.
3. No Show Policy
- Students who register but fail to attend without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
- Missed classes are not credited or transferable to future sessions.
4. Course Cancellations
- If REIB cancels a course due to low enrollment, emergencies, or other reasons, enrolled students will receive a 100% refund of tuition paid or may opt to transfer to a future course date.
5. Digital Materials
- All digital textbooks, course materials, and access credentials are non-refundable once distributed.
6. Special Circumstances
- In rare cases of medical emergencies, death in the immediate family, or relocation, students may submit a written request for special review. Documentation must be provided, and refunds or credit transfers will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

- With Tubal Trade & Vocational Institute, our parent institution, for administrative and academic purposes
